Skills / Development Camp

This program is designed for players that would like to bring their game to the next level.

On-Ice Program

  • Two blocks 1.5 hours (imitation program two 1 hour Blocks)
  • Fundamentals of skating using both edges (Power Skating/Conditioning)
    1. Agility and balance (forward and backwards)
    2. Crossovers
    3. Developing proper speed stride (building speed muscles)
    4. Develop puck control stick speed-stick handling-shooting(all shots)
    5. Giving and receiving passes in motion
    6. Head fakes and deeking
    7. Puck Protection

Off-ice program

Plyometrics

Activities are designed to develop power. They include a variety of foot drills and special exercise which enhance a hockey player’s ability to move quickly and explosively. Agility and balanced are also improved.
