Skate Faster's Summer Skills and Development is now accepting participants!

• August 17^th to August 21^th — Click to register!
  Novice/Atom: 5:30pm to 6:20pm
  Peewee/Bantam: 6:30pm to 7:20pm
  Cost: $150

Fundamental Skill development is the primary focus of Skate Faster's programs. We ensure that every participant will receive the necessary learning opportunities to further enhance their skills. Skate Faster's drills, exercises and conditioning programs are designed to be stressful enough to stimulate energy systems and physical changes in the body so the muscles will adapt to become stronger and more fit. Repitions, intensity, frequency, and duration is designed according to the players age and abilities. Skate Faster understands that hockey players must be conditioned a certain age to correct bad habits and eliminate weaknesses. Our Skill and Development programs and our Conditioning programs help players start, skate, shoot, pass, pivot, cross, and stop. We help improve playing hockey at a higher intensity, going harder for longer into a shifts, and recover faster between shifts on the bench.

First 40 minutes of each session participants will be challenged to perform drills at top speeds thus raising their own skill level. Our expertly trained instructors will work closely on players weakness as well as their strengths to improve their overall play. The next 40 minutes will include a scrimmage where our coaches will reinforce participants to attempt the skills that they have been developing throughout the program such as: Puck control, Stick handling with head up, Deeking, Puck protection, positional play, and much more.
